This is the first installment of a two part story. Each book tells a saga on its own but the two books may be read in series. The first book involves survivors in a post apocalyptic Earth while the second book takes the story to an extra-solar conclusion. In the not too distant future an AI controlled habitat saves the best of humanity from an apocalyptic event. Those who survived outside the influence of the AI struggled to rebuild their lost world and searched for the technology they believed would be found in the city. When Li and Su were found outside the shield the two worlds collide.

I loved this book. I couldn't put it down. The book demands your attention and you cant stop reading. So sad when it was over and am greatly anticipating the next book.
